Responsible for writing SOW's and IGE's for security, phones, and cabling; review all floor plans for accuracy. Design LAN room and IDS system layout based on agency security requirements and with cooperation with the Regional Technology Officer. Travel to various field and regional offices to conduct site surveys as needed. Participate in construction/progress meetings. Oversee all construction, renovation, and reconfiguration projects to completion. Onsite to manage all infrastructure and related tasks: installation, connection, testing, certification, and user training for phones, security systems, and cabling.


Langley AFB - New Hospital Extension

Managed and worked closely with a design team, medical equipment team, and transition planning team as well as the base IO Directorates; keeping them all focused and on task. Reviewed all floor plans and documents for accuracy before furniture, medical equipment or security system devices were ordered for a new 144,000 sqft hospital extension. Managed order process for all new funded and unfunded product (furniture as well as medical equipment) before orders were placed. Reviewed orders and acknowledgments for accuracy. Created a tool to track all purchase orders issued. This sheet contained budgets by CLIN; dollars spent and dollars remaining. Conducted weekly team meeting updating the team with the latest information as well as being updated where each team member was in their task; assisting them as needed. All new medical equipment and ancillary furniture was delivered to offsite warehouse for storage until the site was ready to receive. Managed the logistics of redelivery and installation of warehoused equipment and furniture.

Responsible for coordinating the delivery three floors of systems and private office furniture as well as 101 ducted and non-ducted biosafety cabinets (several within a BSL-4 which required High Containment Area training), surgical lighting and utility arms, necropsy tables within a new 130,000 research facility. Created and maintained an inventory of all equipment by serial number, description, room number, and date of delivery. Coordinated the testing and certification of all equipment.

Developed and maintained project timeline that involved relocating the agency from existing 8 floor building to a new 11 floor-280,000 sqft facility. Managed installation crew of IDS system located on located on a secured floor and within the SCIF. Worked closely with all vendors to coordinate deliveries for the secure facility. Attended all construction meetings.

Andrews AFB - Malcolm Grow Hospital

Managed several internal renovation and reconfigurations projects throughout the base hospital. Coordinated the furniture removal and delivery, new data, voice, and power where needed; new carpet and paint.

Headquarters re-design encompassing the removal, design and installation for 500,000 sq ft at Pentagon City location. Main project completed in 18 months.

Five floors of private office and systems furniture installed simultaneously in new 80,000 sq/ft in downtown Washington, DC location. An additional four-phase project consisting of build-outs and reconfigurations are ongoing.
