Now that your design plan and SOW have been approved and written, they are then sent to the General Contractor if they are managing this portion of your project. Otherwise they are sent directly to vendors for bidding. If you don't have a cabling, security, or phone vendor, BFE is happy to recommend one for you. We have work with several qualified vendors across the country that are all familiar with working on government and commercial projects and the requirements and restrictions they present.

All bids will be sent to BFE for review. We will review for accuracy, full understanding of your project and make sure all the requirements have been met. BFE has saved HHS close to a million dollars in 2011 alone by reviewing proposals.

Once a vendor has been chosen and is onboard, we will schedule a meeting to review the project in greater detail. We have found that reviewing the project SOW and plan along with a site visit with the vendor is beneficial. The vendor will also be required to submit a timeline that will coordinate with the overall construction schedule.
